sermon - 23 november' 08

1) to obey! - immediately
what excatly is a command? must it be like a drill SGT in the centre of the field? long winded and loud? nahz, according to the Bible in Luke 5: 27 - 39, Jesus apparently onli said 5 words(in chinese version) and e said it very softly... itz the person that says it tat matters, not the loudness or the longness... Is God bigger or are u bigger? Did God's word become conditional for u?

2) to repent!
listening to the word can have 2 reactions in general after that, to listen and repent, or to listen and oh that's it... are we willing to GIVE UP our old shirts and ask God for a new shirt that will not spoil and fit us better? or would u ask God for a new shirt while hiding the old shirt, den tearing up the new shirt to mend the old one?

3) to sacrifice! - towards God's kingdom
when matthew decided to follow Jesus, there was no turning back. e was a tax collector wo had little or in fact no chance of going back to his old job if on one day his plans fail. if u were him, would u sacrifice and go all out to follof Jesus? or stay in the comfort zone of roman soilders protecting u and living a lavish life full of guilt and ppl ard u giving u dagger eyes all the time?

4) to bless others
- with wat u have
- with actions
- with the Lord

Willingness, willing to but hard, what are brothers and sisters for? encouragement, support, bless, pray, reminders...

taiwan trip - day 8

finally the end has come as some ppl would say... seriously i would want it to end but all good things come to an end... so was my taiwan trip good? i think i will onli give it a 65% out of 100%... u judge for yourself...

woke up early in the morning to eat breakfast(this is what i call a breakfast)... den travelled to the airport le... nothing muc happened, hope xiang will get his problem solved... =D


trip was actually not as good as i expected it will be, not much of a shopping experience i had hoped for but oh well... scenary was nice but weather was weird... overall, i did somehow enjoyed myself with xiang and yes, i will go taiwan again maybe 100000 years later... =D
and of course, a pic with our dearest(funniest) tour guide!!! =D

taiwan trip - day 7

day 7

seriously dead tired and everything still we had to spend 3 hours plus to go to a place where a cant go up, er lua bi... where the ''famous''(i haven heard of it) light house is there BUT! it isn;t open to public! so we travelled long hours, to get to a famous place where nobody heard b4, to see something which we cant go into... wonderful!(no sacarsm meant here) but the interesting fact is that, the place is where the tai feng evertime comes from...(entrance of the enormous wind la!)

den the the tour guide brought us to some pearl shop, same shit happens, same reaction gave, except this time, everyone didn't buy anything... so haha... think everyone learnt their lessons...

the last ye shi of the tour, xing jiang ye shi... this time, it was the most fufilling one., less food and more things to shop, still, the things are quite ex... but i still bought socks, jacket... =D

returned to the most luxourious hotel i ever stayed in taiwan and seriously, nothing much le...

taiwan trip - day 6

day 6

woke up in the morning started to feel abit of strain and tiredness already... but nonetheless, have to enjoy myself as promised... so went to first stop, some ling zhi guan... there they explained all the positives and so on, wasn't moved abit at all... yx bought some for his grandpa though... i didn't have the financial ability though...

next up was the da li shi gong chang where they make all the jades and crystals... nice jewels they have there... bought 4 necklaces, one for myself, one for my mum, 2 for my ''frenz''... spent quite alot there lolx...

then we went to see ba xian dong, a series of caves formed naturally by waves and wind... nothing special reallie...

then was san xian tai, where there's the legendary bridge, nothing legendary it seems to mi though...

next up we went to a wen quan again... this time it is open air... not bad at all, but though i would have prefered a spa and massage session then but oh well, at least better then nothing...

then we checked in to the xiao xiong du jia chun... played some lame games after dinner, organised by the ppl there... didn;t reallie enjoy myself but ended up i also played and join in... so oh well... had bingo and sissors paper stone... how nice... the we went to make and fang kong ming deng again... this time the other family successfully put up the thing... =D of course we had a part to play in it too...

nothing much for day 6 le, except that this time we shared a ''mu wu'' with the other family of 3.. so mi and yx were like trying not to disturb them and kind of, well, just sleep early la lolx... =D

taiwan trip - day 5

day 5...

ok truthfully, ITZ THE MOPST BORING DAY SO FAR!!! even though the scenary is nice as usual, but the 3 hours bus ride up to hua lian tai ru ge was reallie too much... ok but upon rching there, we realised that the weather was hot instead of cold as we had expected.. wEiRd! like itz the first time seeing taiwan sun too. =D

lunch was at sakae sushi styled restaurant haha... no no, not sakae... it was a mini steamboat for individuals and the dishes were all on rotating belts.. no very interesting though also, i mean, how different can the indigrendients for a steamboat be?

str8 afer tt, we went to th hotel. ya shi dou hotel... appeaed grand from the outside, great seaview from the inside, with a mini balcony... but changing hotels everyday has reallie taken itz toll on mi, i guess... blogged a little(yes there are coms finbally again) den went to had my afternoon nap...

next up at 5(i was kind of late), went to watch the ah mei zu ppl dance... was ok, if not for the hubgry stomachs, i thin we would have enjoyed the theing more then we did...

dinner was at a pretty high class resturant, qing die fan dian... was abt thenicest i have eaten so far.. i had steamed sharks meat, deer meat on hot plate, ru rou(as usual), sweet sour fried fish, ling zhi soup(was suppossed to be good but i didn;t like the taste at all) chicken and so on... nice=D

ok so here i am blogging in all these now... shall go up and enjoy myself on the bed... looking forward to another round of wen quan tml again.. oh not forgetting leng quan... =D

taiwan trip - day 4

day 4...

day 4 started off with an uneventful trip to the fortune telling place, ling long ge... the shifu started off by impressing us with a series of ""dao li"s and example.. all aimed at getting us to buy things from them haha. feng shui is to be believed, not to be religionalised(dunno if there is such a word, but u know whati mean la, dun over superstitious) yup.. so after she, yes she, got my name and birthdate and blah blah blah blah blah, she gave mi a series of talks and reasons and advice and ok, all out of "hao xin"... unmoved as i was, cause i also have been ointo sales b4... so well, think she was abit disappointed cause i kind of rejected her outright haha... =D bad boi...

next we went to ye liu(english name yellow, YES YELLOW NO JOKE!) it ws next to the sea, took alot of nie pics(as usual) and there were alot of rocks there in all shapes and sizes... all f them ar not hand carved but all natuarally formed by the sea waves and wind over time... ther wer rocks that look like the island taiwan, ape that is looking back, porcupine, and the most famous of all, the head of queen elizabeth... which is btw not gg to be repaired by the govt and the say the neck will be gone by say another 15 years time... so of course, we took pic with that head..

next up, jiu fen lao jie... had lunch there, ru rou fan and xiang had drunken chicked... the chicken was cold though... anyway the weather there was super cooling due to the fact that is is so high up in the moutains... scenary is nice too... =D taiwan reallie has alot of moutains and so on... =D the prawn ball there was nice too. =D ate like 3 BIG ones... =D

last stop for the day, but defintly not the last activity, tou cheng nong chang... it was more like a resort.. but farm? haha.. the onli animals i see are, A duck, fishes and A little piglet(alled qian qian btw)... haha... anyway rested for a while then had a little KTV session there... not much songs to sing so in the end onli sang one duet with xiang, Harlem's qing fei de yi =D

dinner was buffet bbq... ended up mi and another boi, ming yong, was the onli one left cooking there and the rest had went in (in the comfort of the four walls from the wind and bbq smell) and ate the food we cooked... haha... ok no offence but i think i still do what i do best ahha... =D

next we had the kong ming deng, it was DIY! so we had to stick oput own papers together and so on... wrote mao bi zhi in paint haha... i wrote happy ord to xiang and too. =D hope he reallie will solve his problem somehow... i know you will ok. =D den we wen tout o light the lantern and as it rose into the ir, they put out fireworks at the same time too. =d t was so nice and the feeling was shiok... =D yup... somehow, it endedjust like tt... D

taiwan trip - day 3

day 3

got woken up at 5 plus by the old japanese folks staying next door... STUPID IRRITATING IDIOTIC!!! cant they just sleep... ok they slept very early but they owoke up super early too haha... and noisy like hell! went for breakfast... breakfast was super bad if not for the apppearane of the ru rou fan, which kind of reallie made my day... and seriously, onli that was nice in the breakfast set. the bee hoon was oily, tastless and blah blah blah...

first up, vineyard... the vineyard in the end we went was well, kind of small i guess but we had free grapes to eat yea! =D and they were super sweet i tell u.. ever drank concentrated ribena? ok not that sweet but ok u get what i mean... itz super sweet la! =-D

next stop was taipei101, famous, tall, wow until i actually got into the building... it was more like suntech city to mi, except that nobody actually goes there to shop and all... but oh when i got to th 88th and 89th floor, (u must pay to get there though), the view was like wow! fantastic! nice! breathtaking! awesome! ok enough... u know what i am toking abt...

lunch was at a chinese reaturant, had mini steamboat bu no buffet, was ok... had ru rou fan again.. gosh i think i am acdicted haha.. =D

after that went to shi lin guan di, home of jiang jie shi, some former big shot and a wife who loved roses so much that he built a rose garden(which became a tourist attraction now) for her... and their house(till now) is still inacessible as though they are stuill living there.. kia si!

next stop yu ren ma tou... where the all famour bai se qing ren jiao in which i took alot of pictures of course. =D qing ren qiao lehz where can dun take pics lolx... wind was chilling... was like expect to get blown away any moment...

next stop was lao jie then shi ling ye shi... shi ling was so super disappointing... was like totally not what i tot it was at all... food was nice though... the da chang bao ziao chang was nice... the mango ice was nice, of course... the chicken cutlet was defintly nice... not the da bing bao xiao bing... i personnally dun like it haha... then we went to the clothes place... D I9 S A P P O I N T I N G!!!!! ok not onli was the clothes there not reallie nice, except for reallie one or two, but the clothes were super ex too.. and alot not my style.. sigh.. so much for the expectation... sigh.. nothing more i guess... for day 3

taiwan trip - day 2

day 2

woke up at 630 early in the morning, it was already bright like anything. i was thinking that taiwanese ppl must be a reallie healthy bunch of ppl, waking up so early in the morning everyday, or maybe itz just the tour grp... =D had international buffet for breakfast, not bad i guess, just not used to eating so much food in the morning...

set off for doing pu in tai zhong for the wu fen che ride, the train ride brought us into a farm, SMELLY!!! nothing much to say at the farm, but went ot some CGMP resturant for lunch...

visited ji ji xiao zhen, the train station.. i dun understand why but they are like trying to make a hoo haa out of everything here is in taiwan.. like every single small thing in taiwan they will make it into a tourist attractions... not like there is a lack o tourist atracions in taiwan but then still, so mani things and they still wanna make small things big haha... ok, personal thinking here haha..

next visited a palm factory cum shop... nothihg interesting there, so skip!

den we checked into the hotel at around 4... early? yes.. cause there is a hot spring at the hotel.. jealous? haha.. dnt be ok... well.. the hot spring is interesting and cooling and refreshing at first 45 mins or so... but the longer u stay in there, the more ba ba boring it became... ehx haha... but still it is nice.. went to sauna after that to burn some oil out haha... should have stayed inside longer but then it was getting too hot to be in there so i was thinking, if there was a sauna at my hse then it would be fantastic, will defintly go in there everyday. =D

ok that's about it for day 2

Taiwan trip - day 1

woke up damn early today, no was not super excited or what, ok actually i am, but was more like SHIT!! i haven pack finish ahha... =D so up i went and pasked my stuff lolx.. =D went to T1 at abt 11 plus, got tuaed by CK, U OWE MI ALOT I DUN CARE!!!!! ok then met xiang and we checked in haha... surprisingly, the queue wasn't even there, so we checked in and rotted like hour plus before going into the Duty Free places and looked like moutain tortises lolx(dun blame mi, itz been years since i last went in - more then a decade lol)...

China Airlines!! better then the one we sat to kuching(what was it again? see lousy until i cant even remember!) ya, had movie to watch, Plane lunch, wasn't fantastic but oh well, i didn;t finish it also haha... =D experienced terbulance AGAIN!, but i wasn't in the toilet this time haha... =D
once we reached Taiwan, was greeted by our friendly, and soon to find out humorous, tour guide who insisted tt we called him xiao chen... our tour wasn't big at all, 10 ppl including us, no old folks so it will prove to be a fast moving tour... =D

first stop, liu he ye shi!!

tot tt i will immediately spend alot of money liaoz but end up ok la... onli ate ''hou jian'', fried ice cream, honey bittergourd juice and bought 2 shades, 1 for mi, 1 for xiang=D yup so i think i still can afford to spend in the next few days... =D

Checked in to CU hotel, (see the punch in the hotel's name?) was ok, got free internet access, that explains my sat night chats with ppl and of course this blog haha.. =D yup, went to get IDD cards to call back home, mum asked mi to find Postcards and i was like, HOW ON EARTH AM I SUPPOSSED TO FIND THEM!!! haha.. =D nvm den... ''kan zhe ban ba''! =D

ok... that's all for the updates.. =D tml going to wen quan.. SUPER DUPER EXCITED!!! hahaa. =D nitez everyone... =D

finally.. the end of all misery... for now at least...

flying off to taiwan in a matter of hours now... pray for safety(if He answers)... itz a fight of controversy, in which i should or should not have been on it... a flight tt might prove to be one too mani... to the 2 whom i msged last night(or rather this morning), everything should be more understood now... lostsoul-jays is proving ITZ name once again...

today was on off... whoe day..early morning already got ppl from camp call mi ask mi things liaoz... how to survive after ord like this?

morning went to play batminton with parents... now my hand are pain... shit... how to carry all my shoppin back?

went to gh's chalet... i think as i type this, they are having fun w/o mi..sigh... but ihave something to look forward to too.. tml i am flying off to taiwan le...=D shit... still haven pack yet haha... dieded...
