QT Reminder couldn't have came at a better timing...

was doing Bill Hunt's Jesus Christ Disciplemaker for QT today when the topic was on chapter 4, a taste of new sine... what made the disciples drop their nets to follow Jesus immediately, the key word here being immediately...

well, they did not excatly made that decision on the spot, but as a matter of fact, the chronological of orders that have been revealed in the Bible, suggest that thay had a four month come and see period with Jesus already to know what is ''this guy'' up to...

this actually made mi sit up and think (like all timely QT does, dunno why) about what actually made mi follow Him in the first place? like what made mi make the decision of reallie wanting to follow Him... hmmmz... good question... i have already went and saw what He had done and experienced what He had done for mi so long ago, and so mani times... things could have been much worse for mi but it didn't turn out as bad... does all this means something?

pray that we will always remember our first love with Him and remember it for life...

went to malaysia for visitation for cny... was quite irritated along the way, the changed the customs, nicer and more spacious, but the road there was like stupid! all 4 lanes converge to 2 lanes(yes including bus) and then the snail crawl to the NEW CUSTOM! WOW! but once inside, itz much better then the old one, i dare say Singapore lost the designing and estatics part... but efficiency, no fight still...

spent one night there, took onli one pic(cause i still haven gotten my camara yet... =( one of the naughtiest and cutest cousin... =D pri 2 this yr... =D sticky to mi like anything...

tiring day

morning went to collect my passport.. realised that they onli gave 5 years, cause i'm a male singaporean... sigh...

afternoon went to play badminton with yong quan, olivia, hexi, cch, weien, weihong, mf, pf at sp... was tiring, nv played so long period and serious badminton hall playing for a long time le... sigh... getting old... hope there will be a next time, olivia said that his brother seems quite open to us... =D

went home was tired like anything... guess reallie too long nv exercise le... =X shall start the running regime again... soon... i hope...

today was the first time in mani mani years(at least it felt like years) that we didn't have selegie fellowship... for some reason, i didn't feel disappointed at all... something's weighing heavy on my mind(other then my brain that is)... the future has nv been so near and yet tough b4...

tuition ministry is good, had some short talk to with parents, knowing them more and building rapport... understanding them more too.. =D and pf was talking to uncle(hui xin hui yee's daddy) and the rapport is like getting better everytime... =D i reallie hope that God will use this ministry as a tool for us to reach into the MacPherson community... =D jia you jia you jia you... =D

tuesday celebrated my dad's birthday like halfway tru his lessons... like when he was abt to finish his lesson then i appeared with the cake, mum bought it... then he was like SHOCKED!! lolx...

went to do my passport then, had to go back to the same freaking place to take it on sat... sianxz... then when i was waiting, i say some freaking uncle who was like complaining abt the queue and the waiting time.. ty[pical... -_-''' couldn't stand him...

den after that when i got home, i called uj.. asked him to surprise my dad at the zhi wei hui meeting lolx... =D i'm a bad boi... so in the end, he reallie got surprised... =D and my dad narated everything to mi like during today's breakfast...

today was giving tuition to derek(my dearest pri 2 darling) he was like so sleepy... his mum called to complain that the school gave him too much hw, that he had to stay up the night b4 to finish up till like 10 plus(which was like uber late hfor a pri 2 kid!) den this morning wake up early go school, and come back home didnt get to sleep after noon nap cause school hw once again too much.. so in the end, he had trouble keeping awake during my lesson... but being the resourceful teacher as i always am, i took out sweets(u know the nerdy sweets, those sour sour ones which come in boxes and got tiny(no not tiny momo zizi toh) bits inside de) yup.. so for every one question he finish, he got to eat csome... he was on sugar rush very soon... =D i'm a good teacher... =D

today cannot dun blog lolx... the rest can wait lolx... =D

morning went to send bro px off to hell oh i mean army camp... bukit panjang camp, 5 Singapore Infantry Regiment... he's enlisting as mono intake! oh man... actually when i fisrt heard the news tt he gg in as mono intake was quite worried... but after today, maybe just abit less worried... i shall explain one by one... =D

first thing was his camp... albiet being like so uber far from his home, itz like the best mono intake camp that he can ever go to cause just beside the camp is mindef camp, meaning all the big shots camp... so in other words, the camp is like so much more better in facilities and everything...

second, i was imagining a camp where onli he was chinese, like gg to be the onli chinese... so when i got there, was kind of relieved when i saw like ''OH THERE ARE OTHER CHINESE!!!'' lolx... ok abit exagerating but ya that's how i felt... esp when i learnt that some are gg to the same sub unit as him... more relieved...

so anyway his mother and uncle also were like more ''fang xin'' la after the tour and everything... he'll be out to collect his O'levels results btw, then first official book out is on the 23rd january...

ok so anyway after we parted with px, vinc and i went to have branch... KFC... was like wow! lolx... long time since i had KFC haha... den went to his hse to take something and fetch leah also haha... played with leah!! uber fun... kept asking her,'' leah where is uncle kai en?'' lolx... (see xiaoling, u're not the onli one haha) den she kept laughing and giggling and like act shy shy... den she poured like 3 cups of tea for mi =XX...

den we went back to tiong bahru plaza to meet fiana(who was eating Macs), then they went to settle some domastic stuff while i talked to Taz(is this how u spell her name? =X) she was telling mi abt how her family misses her and what they'll do everytime she calls back, like the whole family will be waiting and anticipating(cause she always calls back at a certain timing...)... then even the neighbours will come over and like ''oh u know the pig's price went up!!'' and all those stuff lolx... so funny... then her family even requested to speak to ''sir'' and ''mdm'' and say like oh ty for being so good to her and so on, God bless u!(yes they said tt)... life overseas sure is tough when u have so mani ppl who misses u back there...

then she said abt her previous boss too =X treated her ok... like the grandma dun let her read Bible?!?!?! and the grandson too! then ask her to work at the coffee shop also, make her wake up uber early and stuff... bad bad bad... sigh... but good thing sh'e enjoying herself now... looking forward to nov when she goes back, (by then leah will be elder sister le!!! =D)

oh then after that they went home and i went to orchard to shop ALONE! uber sad... walked from ps to orchard wrisma... shopped at like all the places... then what i didn't expect, and was very sad to find out, is that xinling was shopping ALONE TOO!!! ARGH... like when we both knew, OH MAN! should have asked lolx... =X

ya but anyway when the rest arrived, we went to buy jen's present, a organizer and a belt... =D she liked it lolx... the shopped for yi kai's birthday present too, but like ehx, cant find suitable one lolx... so like aiya, nvm la yihui, next time ba haha...

then went harbour front and met up with kiew and kris... went to kiew's hse and ate at the coffee shop outside his hse... uber nice ''teah peng'' and uber not nice(and salty) hock kian mee... went in and talked and discussed and blah blah blah haha...

ok after we ended, like we were so suprised to know that yr and jh were at vivo... so we were like ok let's meet up lolx... den the rest went off le left xinling, je, jh and mi... then we were like OH MAN HOW TO GO HOME!!! 3 bishan and 1 WOODLANDS!!!!! so we decided to take cab... so we waited... after 1 unsuccessful attempt(the driver didn't wanna fetch us), and like 4 time the cab snatched by ppl in front, we gave ourselves up to fate and went to take bus(cudos to jh)... den like 15 mins later on the bus, an aunty overheard our conversation and told us that we took the wrong direction-_-''' i was like ok... ... ... now what lolx... the bus was gg to clementi direction... so well, bo bian... we decided to take bus from clementi... then when we were about to reach clementi, jh stopped us again and say go down cross oppsite and take 52 to bishan... this time we were all skeptical lolx... but she was like so sure so they all went down... den je was like halfway down le ask then ke lehz? jh replied,'' ehx nvm la! just alight first!'' haha... so i blur blur went down... haha... den end up, i took bus with them to bishan then took the mrt back lolx... =D reached home 122 plus but still happy... it was a tiring but fun day... =D

First Lessons....

moday had the first lessons with my two new darlingsxzxz... naughty derek and talkative ming song... if i said they were cute, that would be an understatement... but well, they were very playful too... ok playful is an understatement too... luckily for mi, they were both one to one classes so i didn't have to worry muich abt who to give my attention to more...(they were playmates and cousins u see)...

Sat tennis session and kris's e-birthday event

sat was suppossed to see mi kris px cch and hx play tennis... ended up, px sprain his back, hexi stayed home, cch siad he will be late... so ended up onli mi and kris, as usual... lolx... well, tennis session was good as usual... exercise a good lot...

after that, went to buy some stuff for his birthday, ended up onli bought a streamer(which kept falling off on the actual thingy) and i couldn't get what i wanted lolx... so i went to meet ailing at macs to settle some presentation stuff and he went off to settle more stuff for his birthday...

finally went to his hse, there qwere already ppl playing the ps upstairs-_- i was like wow... den we all shifted down(his frenz were there already) and i went to set up the laptop and lcd projector while some ppl went to tok to his frenz and the rest of them went to pray... one by one his frenz streamed in and we started games(yes the Ya games) there are a big success... theni his parents came and the popiah came, and they said a starting prayer for the food.. thus we started eating, playing, chatting, basically, having fun...

then soon(actually not so soon) i gathered them for the presentation, had super cute pics of kris, and then he had his speech... yes, he shared his testimony... it too provoked some tots in mi... =D

29th meeting with wen

long over dued meeting with my long time DM... sigh... was like so tired that day that i also dunno what the hell was wrong with mi haha... met in the late morning, no one was late, i was early, then we went to the top of esplanade, the balcony there... i didn;t know that such a place exist, cool breeze and view if it doesn't rain.. thankfully it didn;t for some time so we spent our time there chatting... then when we felt some droplets of water, we moved to marina square for lunch... ended up at some thai restuarant(forgot the name liaoz lolx) and had lunch... food was not bad but couldn't take any pictures, neither of us had camara that will do justice to the food... so anyway after that we went to funan food court(seems to be the fav place for cyyam informal gathering) and i did my QT, he wrote some cards(super overdue)... i was like ok i shall rest awhile and then i like slept for an hour plus... -_-''' man i was tired... haiz...

packing of container and long awaited street bandy

30th december was a very special day... nope, i'm not getting married or what, but it was the long awaited day to PACK THE CONTAINER!!!!! haha... armed with anticipation and a brave heart(for the roaches were not for the weak, they could FLY), we went into the container and took out almost everything... i was like running in and out to detail every packing... the two new small plastic containers reallie come in handy as they were like so neat and nice and THEY ARE PINK!! haha... =X

after a long time, i guess it was like 3 hours or so, the container was clean speck nice wonderful and all other superlatives that u could think off, all thanks to the ppl who came down to cleani the container... then.....

the long awaited street bandy session that we al have been waiting for... this time it was reallie STREET BANDY... there were no boards, no outs, no rules... ok there were still rules... but basically, it was more fun.. i recommend everyone to try it... literally street! =D well, another good round of good exercise was the outcome... and sweated like a pig again... haha... =X

Wednesday K session and flight receiving...

lolx... wed K session was one of a kind... why? cause it was onli 2 ppl lolx.. mi and my dear cheng kun =X well, everything turned out fine and now i know what kind of singer he is lolx... a crooner... lolx... sang like alot of songs this time la lolx... but somehow, still not enough lolx.. itz like, no matter how mani songs i sing will also still be not enough de lolx... actually itz fun to go to sing k with crooners lolx... they just sing without fear... =X kris came too, onli for awhile though lolx...

den i rushed over to the airport to send ty wy aunty ivy and uncle andrew off... rushed just in time, or did they wait for mi? hmmmz... well in any case i made it... =D

den went to the food court, or staff canteen rather to eat dinner, and make kris's video for sat... was well, ok no comments...

den news came that the mynmar ppl were reaching and wala, we rushed up onli to find that the plane was still circling above the airport... stormy i guess, cant land... but ultimately it did... den we all had a good time laughing... then dinner, then the second grp came back... took alot of random pictures too... can go take a look at my facebook... =D

Christmas countdown at Iphy's hse...

ok after that, nope i din;t went home but i went to catch up with RJTians(loved)... they were all gathjered at iphy's hse, KOVAN!! was like OMG!!! so far!!! by the time i reached there, (saw lilian and her nic while walking there btw) lilian and her nic, jj and bj wasn;t there already... ok anyway, gave them the present to tag, for the gift exchange...

ok then waited for countdown, 2 times, then ''celebrated''... i bought smirnoff (one of my fav thanx to jude, damn memories...) so we had a bit of drink... lolx... nic was like red all over lolx... oh he's underage btw haha... =X yes this was taken by nic himself... outsidestanding photo...

ok so anyway played a few card games, mahjong, crap till we all fell asleep... wanted to go fo 4am macs breakfast but in the end all was dead, esp yu song who suggested it lolx... so anywayz... went for breakfast ard 10 plus... heartland mall outside the hawker... ok la lolx... had this super funny singing uncle... everything he sings becomes so fast and funny lolx...

christmas event in church...

well... after getting off from the bus(i think it was 81 or something), waled to church from the police post there haha... ehx, went to church, lucky it was open, and then the door was open and i crashed out due to fatigue... woke up in time to start helping out... saw shawn(wow what a surprise christmas gift lolx...) then toked for wuite some time... then cch and wen came too... all tok to shawn haha... =X

ok then the event started... had like a total of 120 seekers!!! WOW!!! well, itz time for a new church lolx... ehx haha ok i did not say that... =X glad that some ppl came la, like xl's mum and brothers, feng zhu aunty, waiyee;s brothers and so on... well, the movie ws touching(for the second time) and the food was fantastic(for two times)... ok anyway that ends the christmas part for last yr...

this time night trail was difintly one of a kind... for once, we didn;t have a night trail for so long liaoz... so it was like WOW! and 2, i was in charge(ok 2ic) of the program... and 3, had super little time to prepare and form up the comittee and everything... and 4, there was always ppl disappearing from the meetings, i HAD TO go to taiwan, and peien went for reservist and so on... so haiz... wasn't very easy planning it...

anyway the whole things went well(defintly)... and i guessed that everyone enjoyed themselves even tough towards the last part, some ppl started seeing visions in the air and others were already playing chess with zhou gong...

well, singspiration was fantastic, had alot of fun watching the egg yolk rise to itz full glory too.. btw here are some pics...

XL's Mum's birthday celebration...

actually had a plan and everthing in mind le... =D this time, the all and famous aunty's birthday had a purpose for us... though her actual birthday was like the day when our night trail ended(i actually msg her at 12 midnight and she replied lolx...), we celebrated with her the next day, a sunday... and our plan was to invite her to the christmas gospel event that was on the 25th dec... but little that we know, she was already invited by some other ppl and had agreed already... nonetheless, itz still a good thing...

so we were so discreetly trying to hide the cake, moving it from outside the hse to inside the room, with your truely distracting her, and ye not helping, lolx... and writing the card with someone guarding at the door, making sure she does not come anywhere near the room... =X well, all well ends well, we had KFC, Sakae Sushi and home cooked food and of course, XL';s fav, yes xl not her mum, fruit cake... =D

Tuesday morning basketball, zl's hse, meeting with kris

tuesday morning met up with cch, cch(his brother), pei zhong, pei yan, hexi, don(his fren/seeker) and yu heng to play basketball... ok technically i didn't play, just watched them... Don was super friendly and outgoing, which is not a bad thing i guess, and also very ah ga liao lolx... if u get what i mean... but anyway, got his number and will try to contact hi soon again.. =D

after that we went ot get lunch for the two noisy sisters... =X opps... yu heng wanted fastfood-_- so we were deciding over macs and kfc... kfc sounded and tasted better i guess... lolx... so went up to tiny momo zizi toh's hse for lunch... his dad was there O_O... and she started complaining to him that yu heng was the one who kept caling him aunty.. but to our delight, he was not on her side lolx... =XX ok not important... important thing is we had fun, played blur(now we know who are the blurest) lolx... and ya, had to send yu heng back, he had tuition after that...

so we came back, and kris and i met in their study room... had a good tok i guess.. was challenged to some things but i kind of ''rejected''?? haha... no la... iz some stuff not settled so i guess, itz not the time YET... but on and on, a good tok... =D agree? haha... well, certainly had a good time, though ended up couldn't go shopping(and that reminds mi kris i haven gotten ur borthday present yet lolx.. =X) ok so anyway, ya enjoyed myself... =D

reflections for the year 2008...

ok shall not blog abt the below list yet, cause i feel tht at the end of the yr, (ok actually now is the start already), there should always be some thanksgiving and reflections... so important things first(no no, the rest are not THAT important)... and this will onli be the reflections... have not come out with my resolutions yet haha... =X

2008 to mi was a yr(as i said b4), a yr that the good overshadowed and over weighed the bad... defintly there has been ups and downs, but nonetheless, muchly ddue to God's providence, i managed to live tru, survive and tadah! here i am...

the second most important thing that happened to mi this yr was that i officially changed status le... from CPL to MR! PERM! now that's important... finally after 731days(leap yr, got one more day), 4 different camps, dunno how mani different bosses, millions of scoldings, i finally got tru army... army actually made mi realised alot of things... alot of times, (quoting what kris said), we will onli see man's (literally) worst side when u are tired or in trouble urself... i remember the time where i stood up for my fren, as in take the blame for him, after that what did i gain? nothing... it made mi realise the need for a change in this world that cant be found here... something devine!

the most important thing that could ever happen will probably be my letting go of my past life... now, this iznt the first time i am saying this but well, some things just wont change will it? i guess letting go and trusting that God will provide reallie needs more support practically den reallie just thinking... in a world that is changing so fast, dramatically for the worse, i guess the onli truth that can be held on is plain for all to see(sometimes i seriously wonder will we still be 2gather if i did not make that decision, well i guess not)... somehow, seeing u with him now just makes mi irritated more den jealous(which is good i guess)

another things fufilled this yr was the taiwan trip! omg buddy, even though i onli gave it a 70%, i must reallie tell u i enjoyed it la... the scenary was reallie fantastic, but maybe the food could have been better... and the hotel changing, oh well... wen quan was nice, and so were the times spent... =D

serving in YA was well, fun! =D itz a total new exp in all... all the time on the table iznt easy, but itz for a cause... thanks to all the da ge ge da jie jie for their help and support in the fellowship dept, sometimes i seriously need help but wont say, credit it to my character but well, i'll change... =D

and all the events that happened this yr(or maybe month)... F A Ntastic! NIGHT TRAILL IS THE BEST!!!! XL agree? haha... =D i guess i learnt alot from all the events that happened...

ok, time for some thanksgiving le...

first of all, most importantly, wanna thank God for giving mi the chance to come back to him... it's almost like a miracle... sometimes i wonder if i could ever be forgiven... it seems like the answer is yes... God says that anything that He takes away, He will replace it with Himself! how wonderful is that...

UJ... Thanks for all the times that u spent talking with mi, was reallie ver nervous abt going to u with my problem in the first place... itz like, OMG!!! T_T... but after the first talk, which lasted like from breakfast till evening, i guess things were alot clearer... thanks for the time and effort and not giving up

kris... ok they are still not use to calling u kris lolx.. well, how's taking a 2 super emo kids as ur Ds? haha... i thank God for a brother like u, though we've known each other for like so long, itz reallie like we just known each other... funny? well.. but thank God for the chance to serve as ur D too! =D for all the honest talks, and ways u tried to help mi, appreciated...

Wen! going down to YF got miss mi ma???? U BETTER!!!!! haha... after 3 and a half years or so of taking mi, i guess ur I got increase a little la lolx.. BUT MY S INCREASE SO MUCH!!! haha... =D well, thanks for taking care of mi for the past years... its like taking care of an old baby sometimes i guess... sorry for the times of stubborness, i guess itz like just mei you kai qiao... and i'm sure we did share good times at cartel... =D feel like giving u a big squeeze everytime i see u =X

Fiana... always like a counsellor to mi(ok u reallie is one)... but the times of persuading and talking and encouragement have reallie helped mi... u're like one of the most patient person i've ever met... though i had nt agree with u at times and even refused prayers and challenged some things, u still were there when i needed advice and help so, thank you!

Vinc... always like a big brother to mi, helping when i needed help and even when i dun need help... somehow u just pop up of no where and ask,'' need help?'' =D it always bring a smile to my heart be it in the midst of bzness...

JJ... in army liaoz horz, MP somemore, slack lehz lolx... =D well, thanks for the openess in the sharings that we had... reallie glad to have known u much better too... itz like i dun think we liked each other that much last time but i am so glad that the days are over... =D
